Christmas is the time to celebrate with a glass, or two, or three, or four, or … oh dear! Former Bachelor and health and fitness expert, Sam Wood, has a few tips for those of us who tend to be a little too merry at this time of year (and end up regretting it come New Year!)
“It’s all about moderation,” says Sam. “Alcohol can contain a lot of sugar so the more you drink, the more it’s going to affect your body. Plus the more you drink, the more you can get sloppy with the food options. If you’re downing one drink after another, you could find yourself stuffing yourself silly with plum pudding!”

“We have a winner! Vodka and soda water is the perfect drink choice this Christmas as it has the lowest calorie option. Add a squeeze of fresh lime or lemon juice for an additional low-calorie flavour hit.”
